Thursday Night Laughs 420 Edition w/ Kenneth, RJ, and Gator

Come and celebrate 420 at Thursday Night Laughs, the cannabis-themed comedy show at The Downstairs in Ithaca, NY on April 20th. Kenneth McLaurin, the North Carolina native known as "The Funniest Person You've Never Heard Of," will bring his infectious energy and affable nature to the stage. He'll be joined by RJ Purpura, a Rochester-based comedian who's been writing and performing comedy for years. Purpura's rapid-fire witticisms cover a wide variety of topics, all with an (un)healthy dose of self-deprecation. He was even named the 2017 Funniest Person in Rochester.

The headliner for the night is Shirelle "Gator" Kinder, a finalist in the 2018, 2019, and 2021 Funniest Person in Rochester competitions. She's been entertaining audiences with her special brand of anecdotal humor since April, and her storytelling and shamelessness are sure to leave you laughing all night long.
